TRANSFER OF THE THIRD HOLLAND CLASS PATROL VESSEL “FRIESLAND” FOR THE ROYAL NETHERLANDS NAVY
On Wednesday 11 April, in Harlingen the third of four Holland Class Oceangoing Patrol Vessels, "Friesland" built by Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding for the Royal Netherlands Navy, was transferred to the Defence Materiel Organization of the Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands.

TRANSFER AND COMMISSIONING OF THE SECOND FRIGATE FOR THE ROYAL MOROCCAN NAVY
On 10 March 2012, after successful sea trials and finishing of outfitting details, SIGMA Class Frigate, Sultan Moulay Ismail, built by Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding (DSNS) in Vlissingen, was transferred to the Royal Moroccan Navy.

After finishing my college education Maritime Engineering at the Technical University in Delft, I started at Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding as a construction specialist. I design and analyse constructions that are exposed to extreme forces, such as explosions or collisions.
